Carl Jung, the brilliant Swiss psychiatrist, saw the Christian cross as much more than the means of execution of Jesus of Nazareth, the Jewish wisdom teacher. For Jung, the cross symbolizes the plight of humanity forever suspended between the opposites of Earthly existence. Join us this Easter as Julie Wilson looks at Jung’s interpretation of the symobol of the cross and its role in spiritual transformation.

The service will include a Unitarian Universalist Flower Communion. Please bring fresh cut flowers to share in this traditional ceremony.
