Only a century or so after the death of Jesus of Nazareth and contemporary with the early writers of the Christian Testament, the most powerful person in Western society wrote a book of Meditations.
Did Marcus Aurelius leave us lessons there that we can use as guides for living effective and virtuous lives, perhaps just as helpful as the stories about Jesus?
In his sermon with us, Rev. Dan King will share recent reflections on how stoicism may be a central element of our eclectic faith tradition.
