Unitarians seek wisdom from all the world’s religions. Following our Third Principle, acceptance of one another and encouragement to spiritual growth in our congregations, the Wisdom Seekers class examines world faith and philosophy to encourage each of us on our individual spiritual journey. Our resources have included The Power of Myth, the History of Unitarian Universalism, Old and New Testament lectures, History of Buddhism and Hinduism and meets each Sunday from 9:45 to 10:45am.
Unitarian Universalist congregations affirm and promote seven Principles, which we hold as strong values and moral guides. We live out these Principles within a “living tradition” of wisdom and spirituality, drawn from sources as diverse as science, poetry, scripture, and personal experience. The Wisdom Seekers class will be discussing these six sources on the 1st and 3rd Sundays from October to December.
