Fellowship Community Outreach Project – The Turning Point Center
Our Fellowship provides, prepares, and serves lunch at the Turning Point Center every third Saturday of the month. The proceeds of our collection on the second Sunday of each month funds this work. Turning Point provides an array of services from food, shelter, and clothing to medical, mental health, social services, and employment training for homeless elderly (50 or older). It is the only shelter in the area that focuses on the elderly.
Turning Point Center is located at 1701 Jacquelyn, very near our building. We need five volunteers every third Saturday to make this program successful. We hope that everyone will participate in this very special Community Outreach Project.
