DESCRIPTION:Title: “Progress Report from the Spiritual Path” \nSpeaker:  Julie Wilson \nThe current political crisis in our country has had a profoundly destabilizing effect on me\, as with many others. I didn’t want to be driven to rage\, despair or hatred. I knew these emotional reactions would only hurt me inside and out. Stumped\, I turned to deepening my spiritual search to see if there was a way I could somehow deal with these painful and problematic realities without succumbing to negative reactivity. I joined an on-line Buddhist sangha and there found many tools in the ancient wisdom teachings combined with recent research findings in  neuropsychophysiology to help me cope and regain my hope.
